Salary :

FUCHS offers competitive pay commensurate with experience in a similar position. Please note this is a union role with a starting rate at $24.11 per hour, which is non-negotiable.

Your Responsibilities :

Reporting to the Evening Supervisor, the machine operator will be responsible for :

• Preparing packaging materials for filling,
• Performing basic packaging inspection to eliminate product contamination,
• Operating filling equipment, connect / disconnect hoses, filling and packaging finished product into small bottles to large totes / bins.
• The job requires safe and efficient use of a fork truck to move pallets between buildings / locations, stack pallets of packaging containers, etc.
• Inside and outside cleanup of buildings and equipment will be also part of this position.
• Training will also include preparing orders for shipping, loading / offloading trailers, sweeping out trucks, ensuring correct paperwork and records are maintained and communicated on shipments being loaded as well as on containers materials / raw materials unloaded
