Financial Manager

Help providing financial advice to the Director, NCIS and the executive leadership of the organization. This position will be managerial and will have supervisory responsibilities.

Serve as comptroller, and provide technical advice and recommendations to the Director.

Be responsible for accounting services, and budget formulation, preparation, submission and execution for multiple funding sources both internal and external to the department.

Analyze and evaluate financial and managerial reports produced within and outside the department.

Provide integrated financial advice and guidance to organization personnel.

Administer a comprehensive planning, programming and budget system (PPBS) for NCIS to ensure the mission is funded at the adequate level.

Must be a US Citizen.

Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

You must obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance and access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). Failure to do so may result in the withdrawal of an offer or removal. Indicate the level and date of your clearance in your resume.

This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following : Overseeing agency execution of programs associated with financial systems, tools, and policies, budgeting, accounting, and financial management; ensuring compliance of financial operations with federal management systems and requirements; AND administering the control over the financial resources of the organization.
