Build a Meaningful Lab Career Where City Energy Meets Canyon Calm - Medical Lab Tech Opportunity in Southern California

Tucked into the northern edges of Los Angeles, there's a community where the rhythm of daily life hums with both quiet suburban comfort and the energy of a city that never quite stops. Here, canyon ridges frame the skyline, neighborhood streets carry the flavor of generations, and the morning rush has a rhythm all its own. It's a place where people work hard, move fast, and still find time for backyard gatherings, hikes at golden hour, and food that feels like home.

We're looking for a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT / CLT) who's ready to grow their career in a setting that blends high stakes with high support. Whether you're fresh out of your MLT program or stepping into your first certified role, this is a full-time opportunity that offers flexible scheduling-including day, night, and weekend shifts-to match the pace of your life. You'll be part of a collaborative team that takes its mission seriously but always finds time to lift each other up.

In this role, you'll handle the essentials of clinical lab work with both focus and heart. That includes collecting, processing, and analyzing biological specimens like blood, urine, and tissue , working with advanced diagnostic equipment, and making sure quality control and safety standards are rock-solid. The results you help produce will shape real-time decisions and patient care plans-and your attention to detail will matter in every step.

We're looking for someone with an associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology, Clinical Laboratory Technology, Biology, or a similar field , plus certification (or eligibility for certification) through ASCP, AMT, or a comparable credentialing body. Whether you're new to the field or bringing experience with you, what matters most is that you're reliable, curious, and eager to be part of a team. Strong communication, computer literacy, and a calm, collaborative mindset will help you thrive.

Outside of the lab, you'll find yourself in a region where diversity is woven into the streets, where local taquerias and family-run markets sit just minutes from canyon trails and sweeping views of the valley. Life here is dynamic-you can spend your morning hiking in the foothills, your afternoon catching a bus into the city, and your evening sharing a meal with neighbors who feel like extended family. It's a place of movement and momentum, where people work hard and look out for each other.

At MLR, we're committed to supporting emerging professionals who care about making a difference. We know that great healthcare starts with strong teams, and strong teams are built from individuals who feel supported, heard, and encouraged to grow. Here, you'll find mentorship, opportunity, and a workplace culture that values kindness just as much as competence.

If you're ready to step into a role that challenges you, supports you, and surrounds you with a team that believes in what they do-we'd love to welcome you aboard. Let's build something meaningful, together.
