Infectious Disease Physician

We are currently looking for a BC / BE infectious disease physician to join our well-established infectious disease practice in Walnut Creek, CA within the multispecialty network known as BASS Medical Group. The incoming provider will work alongside 9 physicians, 1 nurse practitioner, 2 registered nurses, and a tenured support staff, ensuring operational efficiency Our physicians provide the full scope of infectious disease care , and split time between 5 local hospitals on a rotational basis for the majority (4.5 days) of the week, and the remainder of their time is spent in our outpatient clinic In the hospital, our physicians treat immunosuppressed patients with fevers, surgical patients with fevers and / or sepsis, pneumonia, cellulitis, and more In the clinic, our physicians see about 16 patients per day for viral hepatitis, HIV, PrEP, bacterial and fungal diseases, coccidioidomycosis (valley fever), and more; our patients also have access to an on-site infusion center We have fostered a collegial and collaborative environment where providers support one another and value providing high quality, evidence-based, and patient-centered care Offering competitive compensation and complete benefits, including the option for partnership with no buy-in About Walnut Creek, CA Walnut Creek is a city in Contra Costa County, located in the heart of the East Bay region of the San Francisco Bay Area. Beginning with approximately 50 doctors in the Walnut Creek area in 2014, we have grown to 465 providers across 42 specialties in our 128 locations throughout Northern California, and look forward to expanding our reach in the future. The salary range for this role is $230,000-250,000 in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits .
