Job Details

Primary Duties and Responsibilities :

Build data systems and pipelines

Maintain existing data infrastructure

Evaluate business needs and objectives

Analyze and organize raw data

Interpret trends and patterns

Conduct complex data analysis and report on results

Prepare data for prescriptive and predictive modeling

Build algorithms and prototypes

Combine raw information from different sources

Enhance data quality and reliability

Identify opportunities for data acquisition

Develop analytical tools and programs

Collaborate with development and business team members on

Experience and Educational Requirements :

A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field 5+ years of experience in cloud based data related role

MS Azure certification(s) is an asset

Minimum Skills, Knowledge, and Ability Requirements

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Meticulous attention to detail

Must have experience with :

Debezium

Azure Event Hub

Azure Steam Analytics

Azure Blob Storage

Azure DevOps CI / CD (YAML) pipelines build / release automation for both Databricks notebooks and objects and .NET applications and services

Log Analytics

Observability / Azure Monitor Alerts / Databricks Data Alerts

MySQL Flexible Server (general administration / automation)

Languages : Strong SQL

Powershell / Python (scripting)

Python (Databricks Notebooks and Ingest pipelines)

Kusto Query Language (KQL)
