Responsibilities Work in the Labor & Delivery unit of an acute care hospital Serve a culturally diverse and high-risk obstetric patient population RNs circulate during cesarean sections Night shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts per week (18 : 00 to 06 : 30) Weekend shifts required every other weekend Floating required to like units within the hospital and to affiliate hospitals nearby Utilize Epic EMR for charting; Epic experience required Must be willing to work two out of the three major holidays : Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year First-time travelers are welcome to apply RTO (requested time off) must be included during the application process Scrubs in any solid color are allowed, with Royal Blue or Navy typical Free parking provided initially with assigned parking after orientation Completion of required modules prior to start and annually is necessary Travelers refusing to float as required may have their assignment terminated Requirements Active CA RN license required at the time of application Current ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications required Minimum of 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience required Epic charting experience required References from two supervisory sources from within the past three years in a comparable specialty / setting required Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler Applicants must reside at least 50 miles from the facility Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-626147.
