Pediatric Homecare Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) at Care Options for Kids summary :

Provides specialized pediatric home health care to high acuity patients, including medication administration, tracheostomy and ventilator care, and nutritional support via feeding tubes. Works autonomously in the patient's home, fostering close relationships with families and delivering physician-ordered treatments with a focus on safety and comfort. Requires active Texas LVN license, BLS CPR certification, and experience or willingness to train in specialized pediatric nursing skills.

About the Role

High acuity (G-button, Trach, Ventilator) 10 yr old male patient.

Day Shifts Open : Friday Saturday Sunday -7a-7p

Night Shifts Open : Friday Saturday Sunday - 7p-7a

Pay Range $25-30 / hr (depending on experience)

Responsibilities forLicensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs)

Medication administration per physician orders

Physician ordered treatments for :

Nutrition via a feeding tube

Tracheostomy care

Suctioningnasal, oral and / or endotracheal

Ventilation care

Seizure assessment and treatment

Requirements for Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs)

Current, active Texas LVN license

Current BLS CPR card (obtained in-person, not online)

G-tube, trach, vent experience, or willing to train
