Our Physician Assistants are vital members of the surgical team, contributing their expertise to some of the most advanced cardiac procedures in the region. We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our Cardiothoracic Operating Room team, focusing exclusively on cardiac surgical cases. In this role, you will work alongside world-renowned cardiothoracic surgeons and a multidisciplinary team to provide intraoperative care for patients undergoing complex cardiac procedures. As a key member of the surgical team, you will :

• Work exclusively in the Operating Room—no floor, ICU, or consult responsibilities
• First and second assist in a wide range of adult cardiac surgeries
• Perform Endoscopic Vein Harvesting (EVH) and Endoscopic Radial Artery Harvesting (ERH) for coronary artery bypass grafting procedures
• Participate in surgical preparation, draping, and closure
• Collaborate closely with world-renowned surgeons and a multidisciplinary team
• Contribute to optimal surgical outcomes in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment Shift : Full-time OR Days Position, No Weekend / Holiday Requirement Preferred Criteria
• 1–2 years of experience in cardiothoracic surgery (cardiac focus) highly preferred
• Strong first-assist skills and familiarity with the cardiac OR environment
• Proficiency in EVH and / or ERH techniques is highly preferred Required Criteria
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies
• Current NYS licensure
