Job Description
Glorieta’s Guest Services team is seeking an experienced food and beverage professional to oversee our diverse retail, vending, and concession operations. This position requires a strategic thinker who can drive revenue growth while maintaining exceptional guest experiences across multiple outlets. If one is looking to grow into general food service and merchandising management, one may be suited for this position.
Key Responsibilities
Manage vending + 10 merchandise and food service outlets with 6,000+ SKUs, ensuring proper inventory controlLead and develop a team of up to 12 seasonal summer employeesMaximize revenue through strategic product mix, appropriate pricing, cost optimization, effective displays, and inventory managementDrive revenue growth through innovative marketing and operational improvementsReduce cost of goods sold through strategic vendor negotiations and operational efficienciesContribute to developing new retail / food concepts including restaurants, concessions, merch stores, and vendingWork with the Accounting Manager and Director and the Guest Services Director to manage all financial aspects of the Retail department including cost analysis, P&L responsibility, and payment processingEnsure compliance with all food safety regulations and maintain proper certificationsConduct comprehensive inventory management and optimize ordering systemsBuild strategic relationships with suppliers and research cost-efficient alternativesShoulder Season (Spring and Fall) Responsibilities :
Maximize retail operations to support guest groups and events on campusDevelop strategic plans for retail expansionLead cross-functional initiatives with Housekeeping and Food Service departmentsConduct market research and forecast upcoming merchandise trendsImplement continuous improvement strategies across all operationsMaintain ServSafe and NEHA Certifications and ensure all guidelines are followedParticipate in "All-Hands" calls and support overall organizational needsPlan and execute comprehensive End of Fiscal Year inventoryCollaborate with Executive Leadership on long-term strategic planningQualifications :
Proven leadership ability with a positive and respectful management styleFinancial acumen and analytical capabilitiesExcellent negotiation skills and vendor relationship managementHighly organized with exceptional attention to detailProficiency in market analysis and trend identificationExperience with Google Workspace, Microsoft Teams, and SalesforceOutstanding inventory management and logistics expertiseAbility to scale operations efficiently during seasonal fluctuationsProven experience in retail and / or food service managementStrong financial acumen with experience in budgeting and cost controlExcellent negotiation skills and vendor relationship managementAbility to scale operations efficiently during seasonal fluctuationsExperienced in new concept development and implementationStrong leadership abilities with a focus on team developmentDetail-oriented with strong organizational skillsBackground in inventory management and logisticsEducational equivalent of an Associate’s Degree or 3 years of experience in the food service, retail, or camp industry in a similar capacityCompany Overview

Compensation and Benefits
Compensation starts at $15.00 / hour with overtime pay.
