Labor Finders is looking for a certified forklift operator for a manufacturing plant in LANETT, ALABAMA
Key Responsibilities
- Operate Forklifts : Safely operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse or industrial site.
- Inventory Management : Assist in managing inventory by tracking the movement of goods and conducting regular inventory checks.
- Safety Compliance : Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
- Load Handling : Efficiently load and unload materials from trucks, ensuring that loads are balanced and secure before moving.
- Equipment Maintenance : Perform routine checks and maintenance on forklifts and other warehouse equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience : Prior experience operating forklifts or similar industrial vehicles is preferred.Certification : A valid forklift operator certification is required.Physical Fitness : Good physical condition to handle the demands of the job, including lifting and moving heavy materials.Attention to Detail : Strong attention to detail to ensure safe handling of materials and compliance with safety standards.Communication Skills : Good written and verbal communication skills to coordinate with team members and report issues.To apply please call the office to schedule an appointment
