About the Role
James Tool Machine and Engineering, Inc. is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our team in Morganton, NC. This role focuses on Prototrak 3-Axis CNC Mills and Lathes in a job shop / non-production environment . The right candidate will be able to program, set up, and operate machines to produce high-precision components.
Key Responsibilities
- Program, set up, and operate Prototrak 3-axis CNC mills and lathes
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and GD&T to machine parts accurately
- Work in a fast-paced job shop environment on low-volume, high-mix parts
- Commit to and follow all plant safety policies and procedures
- Ensure quality standards are met in alignment with ISO 9001 and AS9100 requirements
- Adapt to frequent changes in daily machining priorities
