BAE Systems Electronic Combat Solutions (ECS) business area is seeking a Manager I in the Tactical Aircraft (TacAir) product line. This Manager will lead our Program Quality Engineers on production programs in New Hampshire Oversight shall include, but not limited to, ensuring customer contract requirements are met, quality assurance, continuous process improvement, and lifecycle management. The role will be involved in writing Basis of Estimate, supporting proposals, Development, Production, Sustainment and / or Non-recurring Engineering Programs. The individual will work closely with the Customer, Program Management offices & Supplier Quality Teams along with other critical functions to provide world-class program execution. Additionally, support corrective actions using quality science tools via 8D methodology. Because this role involves a combination of collaborative / in-person and independent work, it will take the form of a hybrid work format, with time split between working onsite and remotely and travel to other locations.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills :

• A Bachelor's Degree and 8 years work experience or 12+ years of experience in lieu of degree
• Self-starting problem solver with a fact-based focus on continuous improvement.
• Strong and demonstrated communication skills (written, verbal, visual) and interpersonal skills (listening and communicating within a group / team).
• Enjoys working with and coaching Quality professionals and other cross-functional team members to continuously improve execution success
• Understanding the process for Basis of Estimate and proposals
• Understanding of Quality Science tools (APQP / PPAP, 8D RCCA, Statistical Process Controls, Lean Six Sigma, Auditing) along with relevant industry standards

Pay Information :

Full-Time Salary Range : $130355 - $221603 Please note : This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to : business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
