About The Position

Job Title : X-Ray Technologist

License : Valid State License Preferred

Certifications : ARRT R, BLS

Must-Have :

• Experience with C-arm procedures
• Proficient in diagnostic imaging studies
• Knowledge of radiation safety

Description :

The X-Ray Technologist operates X-Ray equipment to capture and develop images for medical diagnosis.

This position requires performing all phases of technical diagnostic imaging.

The technologist will work with a diverse patient population, including infants, children, adults, and geriatric patients.

The role involves effective communication with patients and the ability to demonstrate patience and understanding of their needs.

The position also emphasizes the importance of teamwork, compliance, problem-solving, and judgment in prioritizing patient care.

Candidates should be capable of standing, lifting, and moving patients.

Knowledge in infection control and quality control in imaging is essential.

Experience with Epic charting systems is preferred.

The technologist must also be prepared to handle competing needs and priorities in a clinical setting.

The responsibilities include record maintenance, equipment operation, and preparation and administration of contrast media.

Continuous education and adherence to safety protocols are critical components of this role.

The X-Ray Technologist will not be required to float or be on call.
