Job Summary :
The Regeneration Operator II is responsible for mobile equipment regeneration and facility-wide water management operations. This role involves chemical handling, resin regeneration, wastewater operations, and facility water balancing. The operator completes the resin handling cycle, including unloading and reloading onto various mobile equipment, and oversees resin regenerations and wastewater treatment while maintaining appropriate water levels throughout the facility. The Regeneration Operator II may serve as a backup shift lead and is expected to have a comprehensive understanding of facility processes such as dock operations, quality control procedures, and regulatory compliance requirements.

Duties & Responsibilities
Operating and monitoring regeneration equipment within proper equipment parametersHandling resin unloading and loading processes in trailers and regeneration vessels, and maintaining proper equipment parametersManage the Wastewater process from regeneration activities, maintain balance of Deionized water for regeneration activities.Executing plant startup up and shutdown proceduresEnter SAP production orders for mobile equipment and resin regeneration to ensure accurate tracking, resource allocation, and cost control. Support equipment readiness and consistent resin availability with timely, precise entries to meet production needs and uphold quality standards.Mentor’s new hires through demonstrations, clear explanations, and responsive answers. Adapts to different learning styles, provides helpful feedback, and ensures understanding of safety and operational standards for quick team integration.Conduct standard lab tests to ensure quality control, regularly check equipment specs, resin quality, and process effectiveness. Perform tests such as pH, conductivity / resistivity, silica, and Total Dissolved Solids (TDS).Document all activities, including checklist completion, performance data, equipment issues, shift logs, shift notes, and wastewater tank discharge.Safety compliance involves following protocols, proper PPE use, maintaining clean workspaces, recognizing chemical hazards, meeting safety standards, and adhering to spill response steps.Maintaining communication with supervisors and team members, providing regular status updates, and participating in team meetings.Demonstrates commitment to ongoing improvement by recommending process optimizations, engaging in training opportunities, and remaining informed of industry best practices.Allocating specific equipment to orders in accordance with customer requirements and equipment specificationsRegular forklift operation requiredQualifications
Education & Experience Required :
HS Diploma, GED or equivalent.At least 4 years of experience in comparable manufacturing environment involving material handlingPreferred
HS Chemistry knowledge highly desiredExperience in a high-volume, fast-paced environmentWarehouse safety and OSHA regulationsSAP ExperienceAdditional Information
