• Heparin administration
• PCA management
• Experience with spinal cord injuries
• Experience with traumatic brain injury
• Ortho trauma experience
• Total joint replacements experience
• Surgical drains management
• HFNC and nasal cannula usage
• Oral suctioning
• Oxygen face masks administration
• Portable oxygen tanks handling
• Tracheostomy management
• Wound care

Looking for an experienced Med / Surg RN with a focus on Orthopedics.

Ideal candidates must have at least 2 years of experience.

First-time travelers are not accepted.

Staffing ratios are 1 : 6.

The unit has a total of 36 beds.

Floating to units of equal or lesser acuity is required.

Weekend shifts are half of the scheduled shifts.

Certifications : BLS; NIH and ACLS preferred.

Previous charge experience is a plus.

Patient ratio experience is required.

Must have experience with Epic documentation system.

Community hospital experience is preferred.

Travel experience is also required.

Skills should include accessing / managing ports, blood product administration, and hemodialysis management, among others.

This position involves care for diverse patient age groups, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

The unit provides interdisciplinary support, including physical therapy and respiratory services.

Additional responsibilities may include managing various special procedures and equipment as needed.
