RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Verify price tags are present for all products in the department Rotate older stock to the front, making space for new stock Check out customer purchases quickly and accurately, using correct prices and departments Pull short-date or low-quality items and follow established procedures for recording and disposing Stock displays fully without overcrowding; face items on shelves Assist customers with product questions in a prompt, friendly, courteous manner, referring them to other staff when necessary Help with receiving deliveries and rotating overstock into back stock Clean up spills, remove trash promptly, sweep and mop the floor Assist various departments when needed Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS : Available to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends Ability to perform stocking tasks Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs Experience serving the public Accuracy, attention to detail Ability to handle multiple demands Ability to project an outgoing, friendly personality Ability to stand for long periods Ability to work in cold, wet conditions Ability to work in various departments when needed Willingness and ability to learn and grow to meet the changing requirements of the job BENEFITS AND PERKS : Medical (No cost to employee on the HMO plan - yes, FREE employee-only plan!)  Dental & Vision (FREE Basic employee only plan!)
