Overview
Stellantis's Vehicle and Propulsion Controls organization is seeking a systems requirements engineer to develop controls solutions for next generation Powertrain technologies. We are looking for a candidate with experience in controls and / or system engineering and a strong understanding of powertrain systems.
The systems requirements engineer is responsible for leading the design and development of requirements for features assigned to their team.
- Analyze the Functional Objectives related features to determine feasibility of design and provide feedback to Vehicle team.
- Design and Develop the feature design and requirements for all features assigned.
- Design and Develop the DFMEA for all features assigned to team.
- Plan and delivery based on requests from external stakeholders.
- Participate in all relevant Feature team meetings for planning work and tracking status of deliverables.
- Work closely with Product Management to identify and prioritize deliverables aligned with business goals and escalate risks to Product Managers / Owners.
- Provide an active role in mitigating risks impacting successful team completion of committed deliverables.
- Work closely with other teams to identify dependencies and resolve risks.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to the team.
- Represent team in front of external stakeholders, customers, and other teams.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or related areaMinimum of 5 years of experience in System Engineering, Design Engineer, Controls Development, or CalibrationCapable of creating Logical as well as Physical SchematicsExperience authoring Requirements and specificationsWorking experience with Microsoft Office applicationsHighly motivated / self-starter with proven leadership skillsDemonstrated ability to work in a team environmentStrong verbal / written communication skillsPreferred Qualifications
Master of Science or PHD in Applied Physics, Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering, or related areaPropulsion system experience / exposure or trainingExperience in leveraging Model Based Systems Engineering methodologyExperience in using INCA, Matlab, Simulink, DOORS, and VisioExperience using CANalyzer or CANoeExperience with communication networks (i.e. CAN, LIN, FlexRay, etc.)Benefits
