Mechanical Designer (SolidWorks)

Selectek has an immediate need to hire a Mechanical Designer for a full-time position in the Kennesaw, Georgia area. This firm is seeking strong SolidWorks users with a background in sheetmetal design

Job Details Â

Document designs using SolidWorks / AutoCAD

Create and revise production drawings (detail and assembly drawings)

Utilize knowledge of various manufacturing machines, design practices, math and building materials to complete drawings.

Draft detailed multi-view drawings of manufactured products

Communicate with sales and manufacturing regarding new and revised prints

Selectek is unable to provide sponsorship, so candidates must be US citizens or active green card holders to qualify for this role.Â

Requirements for Qualification :

1-5 (or more) years CAD experience (SolidWorks)

1-5 Years’ experience in sheet metal manufacturing environment

A successful designer will exhibit the following characteristics Technical capacity, Communication proficiency, Problem solving / Analysis, Collaboration skills, Ability to read and understand Architectural drawings, Microsoft Office and General Computer Skills.

Compensation : $25-$30 per hour before conversion, depending on certification and experience

Schedule : Â Monday-Friday, 8 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm.
