What We Want

The Medical Assistant, under supervision, is responsible for providing direct patient care in coordination with clinicians. Conducts basic office-based medical tasks and performs basic clinical procedures to include injection and medication administrations. Cleans, sterilizes, and stocks exam rooms and medical equipment.

Salary : Compensation will be commensurate to the selected hire's experience.

Other Requirements and Factors :

• This position is security sensitive. The individual in this position is required to handle Protected Health Information (PHI) as defined by HIPAA regulations. The individual is required to handle PHI in accordance with the A&M System policy and is further required to complete HIPAA training as a condition of employment, within a reasonable time-frame after the individual's employment, and on an as-needed basis thereafter.
• This is an in-person position, located at the Beutel Health Center on TAMU Main Campus.
• This position requires compliance with state and federal laws / codes and Texas A&M University System / TAMU policies, regulations, rules, and procedures.
• Able to stand for 80% of shift
