Position Overview

This role is essential for delivering exceptional, patient-focused care within a telemetry unit. The Advanced Telemetry RN at the Clinical Nurse II level is responsible for continuous cardiac monitoring and managing patients with complex cardiac and neurological conditions. This position demands specialized certifications, autonomous decision-making, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Patient Care :

Monitor patients requiring continuous cardiac telemetry.

Maintain a safe, clean environment adhering to infection control and hospital policies.

Accurately document patient care, interventions, and responses in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) following patient care standards.

Provide mentorship and preceptorship to new graduate nurses, new hires, and students.

Respond swiftly to cardiac emergencies such as arrhythmias and chest pain with advanced clinical skills.
