About the Company

Our client is an expanding a premier bar and restaurant group with multiple locations from Dallas to the West Coast with strong growth momentum along with plans to go to market over the next 36 months. The company is seeking a strategic financial leader to help drive its next phase of expansion and lead the organization through a successful transaction.

Role Overview

The Chief Financial Officer will serve as a critical member of the executive leadership team, overseeing all aspects of financial strategy, planning, and execution. This role is ideally suited for an experienced finance leader who has previously guided a multi-unit consumer, retail, or restaurant concept through a liquidity event or sale.

The CFO will be responsible not only for transaction readiness but also for ensuring ongoing operational excellence, scaling financial systems, and strengthening relationships with external stakeholders including investors, banks, and strategic buyers.

Key Responsibilities

• Transaction Leadership : Drive financial readiness and execution for an anticipated sale / exit including preparation of financial models, due diligence, and negotiation support.
• Strategic Finance : Develop and implement financial strategies to support growth, profitability, and expansion of new locations.
• Investor & Capital Partner Relations : Act as a key interface with current and prospective investors, lenders, and other capital partners.
• Financial Planning & Analysis : Lead forecasting, budgeting, and scenario planning to inform executive decision-making.
• Operational Finance : Oversee accounting, reporting, cash flow management, and internal controls to ensure scalable, efficient operations.
• Executive Leadership : Partner with the CEO and leadership team in shaping strategic direction, growth opportunities, and organizational priorities.
