Job Opportunity : OB / GYN Laborist Physician in Davenport, IA

Job Responsibilities :

• Provide hospital support for OB & GYN patients in a busy inpatient setting
• Deliver collaborative care alongside a community healthcare partner and midwives
• Manage approximately 80 deliveries monthly in a supportive, high-volume environment
• Provide 24-hour in-house coverage for labor & delivery, OB / GYN triage, and ER calls as needed
• Serve as a regional referral resource for GYN patients
• Perform daily rounding on post-operative and post-partum patients
• Participate in a collaborative care model enhancing patient safety and community health
• Work within a multidisciplinary team, including anesthesia, NICU, and midwives
• No separate doc call expected; full-time dedicated hospitalist role
• Support and enhance hospital protocols during the launch of 24-hour in-house coverage.
