Responsibilities:

• Perform inventory reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Conduct variance analyses and provide insights on discrepancies to support operational improvements.
• Oversee month-end closing activities, including journal entry preparation and general ledger maintenance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline inventory accounting processes.
• Monitor and maintain accurate records of annual inventory valuations.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and audit requirements within inventory accounting.
• Analyze financial data related to inventory and report findings to management.
• Assist in the development and implementation of best practices for inventory management accounting.
• Support the preparation of financial statements and reports with inventory-related details.
• Address and resolve inventory accounting issues in a timely manner.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in inventory accounting, including reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Strong proficiency in preparing journal entries and maintaining general ledger accounts.
• Familiarity with month-end closing processes and financial reporting.
• Ability to work effectively in high-volume environments.
• Knowledge of annual inventory valuation practices and related accounting principles.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is required.
