Staff Accountant

Responsibilities:
- Perform inventory reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Conduct variance analyses and provide insights on discrepancies to support operational improvements.
- Oversee month-end closing activities, including journal entry preparation and general ledger maintenance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline inventory accounting processes.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of annual inventory valuations.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and audit requirements within inventory accounting.
- Analyze financial data related to inventory and report findings to management.
- Assist in the development and implementation of best practices for inventory management accounting.
- Support the preparation of financial statements and reports with inventory-related details.
- Address and resolve inventory accounting issues in a timely manner.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in inventory accounting, including reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Strong proficiency in preparing journal entries and maintaining general ledger accounts.
- Familiarity with month-end closing processes and financial reporting.
