Job descriptionProvide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues. Monitor access points and observe activities within the location to help to deter potential threats and report suspicious behavior. Document incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements. Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and / or contractors to provide assistance and relay information related to security-related matters. Follow all site-specific instructions and protocols as directed by Allied Universal and client leadership. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience. Must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED. Must be at least 21 years of age. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. Security Officer - Aero / Defense Patrols FT
As a Security Officer - Aero / Defense Patrols FT in Savannah, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero / Defense, and more.
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within an aerospace and defense location, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment. Your visible presence and routine patrols will support a welcoming atmosphere, while your commitment to exceptional customer service and clear communication will enhance the experience for everyone on site. Fri 07 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM
What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
