Shift Lead

LiftOff Creamery is an aviation themed ice cream store. We are currently seeking a high-energy ice cream shift leader with excellent communication skills who will be responsible for managing and providing quality service to our customers. The ability to manage store procedures skillfully and creatively and to create delightful service for our customers. Retail management and customer relations experience desired.

• Position Details
• Welcome customers, read and listen to people to determine order preferences, make recommendations, and take front counter orders.
• Ability to work well in a team, and to pivot when given instruction.
• Ensure brand standards and customer experiences are consistent and in line with company expectations at the store, markets, pop-ups, demonstrations, and other events.
• Inform customers about new ice cream and desserts.
• Content of register
• Merchandise is properly ordered, stocked, and displayed (you can take direction)
• Manage inventory, receiving, stocking, and assisting inventory counts.
• Store Maintenance : file reports for safety issues and general store appearance to General Manager
• Opening and / or closing responsibilities
• Banking
• Able to lift 50lbs regularly.
• Stand on your speedy feet for 8-10 hours shifts whether it be weekdays, weekends, or nights.
• Action-oriented behavior toward problem solving of the store and LiftOff Creamery standards.
• Maintain a clean work and dining area by removing trash, cleaning tables, and washing glasses, utensils, and equipment.
• Strong desire and willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done well.
• Clear communication skills and an orientation toward customer satisfaction.
• Must be eligible to work in the USA.
• Must be able to successfully pass a background check.
• Abide by and conduct themselves in a manner consistent with LiftOff Creamery Core Values & Employee Handbook.
• Minimum Qualifications
• An ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Availability to work nights, days, weekends, and holidays.
• Positive, engaging personality and professional appearance.
• Basic math, tablet use, and computer skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong task and time management abilities.
• Eye for detail and understanding of customer and restaurant service. Physical Demands
• Stand, walk, bend, etc. for extended periods of time.
• Use of arms, and hands frequently.
• Read, written and verbal communications.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Work Environment
