As a Security Professional - Residential Site Patrol - Part Time in Brooklyn, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in residential locations and other areas. You will use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and pick up open shifts based on your availability, giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you while gaining site experience across various industries. You will monitor and patrol residential locations, deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service to residents and visitors. You will represent Allied Universal’s values of putting people first, acting with integrity, and working collaboratively as part of a caring, innovative team.

Pay and Schedule

Pay Rate : $17.17 / Hour

Job Schedule :

  • Mon — 09 : 00 AM to 05 : 00 PM
  • Thu — 01 : 00 AM to 09 : 00 AM

    • What You’ll Do

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential property and its perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related issues in and around the location.
  • Interact professionally with residents, visitors, and staff to address inquiries and support a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders as directed during critical events at the location.

    • Minimum Requirements

  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • X‑ray screening experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
