Overview
The California Post is seeking an aggressive, enterprise-focused City Hall Reporter to uncover the power struggles, backroom deals, and policy decisions that shape life in the nation’s second-largest city. Los Angeles City Hall is a place of influence, conflict, and intrigue, and this reporter will go beyond the daily headlines to reveal how decisions are made, who is pulling the strings, and how those choices impact Angelenos.
This is a high-profile role requiring relentless curiosity, a track record of cultivating deep and trusted sources, and the skills to produce agenda-setting investigative and enterprise stories. The right candidate thrives in a competitive environment, knows how to dig into documents and data, and can deliver stories that combine rigorous reporting with The Post’s sharp, engaging voice.

Compensation and Benefits
Pay Range : $95,000 – $110,000
