Job Description

Join our team as a General Production Worker and Forklift Operator, where you'll play a vital role in our pellet production line. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the production process, from mixing raw materials to packaging the final product.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to transport raw materials and final products.
• Load raw materials into the mixer at the start of the production line.
• Monitor the production line for any issues or errors.
• Package the processed material into sacks.
• Transport the product to the oven using a forklift and load the oven.
• Weigh and wrap the final product for shipping.
• Maintain cleanliness by sweeping up black coal resin from the floors.

Work Environment

Work in a small team of eight in a dusty environment with large machinery. The role is very hands-on and requires cross-training and adaptability. You will need to wear a respirator and Tyvek suit, which we provide along with safety glasses and gloves. Expect to get dirty with black soot from the pellet resin. The plant is well-ventilated, but it can become hot on humid days. The shift is from 3am to 1pm, Monday to Thursday, with overtime available on Fridays and lots of overtime options currently available averaging 45-50 hours per week. Extra breaks are provided to accommodate temperature changes, ensuring flexibility and comfort.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of ARDEN HILLS, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00 / hr.
