Day to day, the role includes ensuring that all employees across the US & Canada are paid on time and accurately, approving all payrolls, ensuring accurate and timely posting of payroll journals, preparing payroll-related reports and analytics, acting as a subject matter expert, collaborating with various departments, delegating tasks, and anticipating potential issues.

Responsibilities include ensuring payrolls are processed in compliance with local tax and employment laws, defining and driving the global payroll vision, leveraging AI and automation tools, building and maintaining relationships with key business partners, and ensuring payrolls are processed and reviewed in compliance with company policy.

Skills and competencies required include being a certified payroll professional, leading process efficiencies, experience with Workday HCM and payroll, advanced Microsoft Excel skills, proficiency in partnering and communicating across functions, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Salary range transparency : US Remote 100,000 - 145,000 USD per year. The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Indeed's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include quarterly bonuses, Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), a Paid Time Off policy, and many region-specific benefits.
