RN Position Job Notes :

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details :

• Work in a 36-bed Intermediate Care Unit on the 2nd floor, South Tower
• Staff ratios may go up to 1 : 4 or 1 : 5 depending on census and staffing
• Day shift : 1 charge nurse, 8 RNs, 4 PCTs
• Night shift : 1 charge nurse, 8 RNs, 4 PCTs
• Every other weekend required, no on-call responsibilities
• Must work in a fast-paced unit environment
• Floating required to all areas within the facility
• Required certifications : RN license, BLS, NIH
• Preferred certification : ACLS
• Use Meditech EMR system
• Dress code : Royal blue scrubs, jacket same color as scrubs, undershirt must be same color or white
• Must demonstrate compassionate care, team player attitude, and positive personal connections
• Strong time management skills and open communication required
• Focus on patient safety and maintaining positive attitude
