We are looking for the right person to join our team as an Estimator / Project Manager in Carpentry. Is that you? If so, we want to talk to you!
Responsibilities
An Estimator / Project Manager in our carpentry division will review and prepare budgets, estimates, and solicit / evaluate quotes from suppliers / subcontractors for construction projects. Upon award, they will be responsible for the procurement of all materials for the project. A background with carpentry (Rough & Finish Carpentry, Millwork & Casework, and / or Doors, Frames, & Hardware) is preferred, but not required.
Estimating Responsibilities
- Must be able to effectively manage multiple estimates and proposals concurrently
- Perform accurate and thorough quantity take-offs
- Properly evaluate drawings, specs, and other bid documents for all involved scope
- Conduct site visits, pre-bid meetings, and perform detailed scope evaluations for all trade work
- Use multiple software systems and web applications for estimating
Project Manager Responsibilities
Computer Equipment and Software Requirements
o Bluebeam (or similar) PDF viewer / takeoff software
o Microsoft Applications (Windows, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
o Onscreen Takeoff
