Summary :
As a dedicated and competent Registered Nurse, you will have the opportunity to practice independently in a dynamic clinical setting. You will be responsible for providing both routine and complex care, with an emphasis on planning and long-term patient outcomes. Your role will also involve enhancing your ability to handle various clinical situations and make informed decisions as you guide and delegate tasks among the care team.
Responsibilities :
- Exceed expectations based on the OneCHRISTUS Competencies : Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
- Provide comprehensive nursing care in accordance with the ANA Scope and Standards of Practice, implementing the nursing process which includes assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients.
- Address the complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and their families, tailored to your level of practice.
- Administer medications and treatments as per protocols, while monitoring for side effects and assessing treatment effectiveness.
- Accurately document patient history, symptoms, medication administration, and care provided.
- Evaluate learning needs and deliver education to patients, family members, and caregivers, identifying key issues and resources available.
Job Requirements : Education / Skills
Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing is preferred.Experience
A minimum of 1 year of experience in the relevant nursing specialty is preferred.Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications
BLS certification is required.Active RN License in the state of employment or a compact license.Work Schedule : 4 Days - 10 Hours
