Requirements :
Previous experience as a Data Cable Technician
Ability to travel extensively
Flexible schedule; willing to work on-call, day or night shifts as needed
Experience reading blueprints and site maps
Experience in CCTV, voice, and data cabling (preferred)
Knowledge of identifying color codes and independent colors
Ability to work in cramped spaces and at heights
Experience operating a boom or scissor lift
Basic telecommunication tools, PPE, and reliable transportation
Knowledge of cabling infrastructure standards
Proficiency with smartphones, personal computers, email, spreadsheets, and Microsoft Office
Experience with conduit installation (preferred)
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record (no DUI / DWI in the last 3 years)
Responsibilities :
Install, troubleshoot, and maintain cabling infrastructure
Run low-voltage cabling in commercial buildings (including drilling concrete walls and limited conduit work)
Ensure cables are neatly tied and bundled in compliance with safety regulations
Install cable support structures (j-hooks, cable racks, innerduct)
Conduct testing to verify all installed systems and devices are operational
Troubleshoot cable network issues as needed
