Job description

Surgery physician job in North Dakota :

Locums Dickinson, North Dakota, General Surgery Opening (IMLC Accepted)

Dates :

December 2025 Ongoing

2 locums needed, 10 days / month (flexible scheduling, will work around provider availability)

Schedule : Monday : 8a5p Clinic

Tuesday : Surgery + Clinic (depending on OR schedule)

Wednesday : 8a5p Clinic

Thursday : Surgery + Clinic (depending on OR schedule)

Friday : 8a2p Clinic

Call : 24 / 7 / 365, 20-minute response time

General Surgery available for scheduled cases MondayFriday, emergent cases 7 days / week

Practice Details : Trauma Level IV

25-bed facility

Average daily census : 15

Average 05 GS patients per 24 hours of call

Responsibilities : phone consults, admissions, rounding on GS patients only

No APP supervision required

Anesthesia coverage provided by CRNA group

Procedures Required :

Abdominal

Endoscopy

Liver

Stomach

Gallbladders

Appendix

Colon

Laparoscopy

Spleen

Preferred (not required) :

Pediatrics

Thyroid

Pulmonary

Vascular

Not Required : Amputations

C-sections

Hysterectomies

Respirator care

Requirements :

Board Certified (will accept Board Eligible within 3 years of US residency)

Active ND License or IMLC Accepted

ACLS Required

ND DEA Required
