Medical Supply Technicians Sterile Processing

Location : VA Fresno, CA| Business Hours : Two Shifts Available

  • Day Shift : 7 : 00 AM 3 : 30 PM
  • Evening Shift : 3 : 00 PM 11 : 30 PM

About the Role

Sterile Processing Technicians are a vital part of the healthcare team. You will ensure that surgical instruments and medical equipment are properly cleaned, sterilized, inspected, and packagedplaying a critical role in patient safety and quality care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean, decontaminate, and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment.
  • Follow strict safety and compliance standards (AAMI, AORN, FDA, OSHA).
  • Operate sterilization equipment (autoclaves, V-Pro, machine washers, ultrasonics).
  • Inspect instruments for damage, wear, or malfunction.
  • Assemble, package, and label instruments to maintain sterility.
  • Maintain accurate sterilization records and documentation.
  • Adhere to all PPE protocols and infection prevention practices.
  • Assist with training new team members as needed.
