Description :

This position is for a Progressive Care Unit on the night shift.

The role involves caring for patients with cardiovascular-related conditions.

Travelers will be expected to float to like units as needed based on facility needs.

Candidates should be familiar with telemetry and cardiac telemetry.

Understanding of procedures such as post-cardiac catheterization and post myocardial infarction care is essential.

Skills in blood product administration, IV management, and non-invasive airway management are required.

Workers will be part of an interdisciplinary team, working with various support services.

Weekly patient census averages around 38 patients with unit capacity of 55 beds.

Shifts include weekends as needed, with rotating weekend requirements.

This role requires professional interaction with patients, families, and team members while ensuring safe and effective care delivery.
