Title : Mammography Technologist

Location : Columbus, Ohio

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift :

Day shift, 58 hours (generally 08 : 0016 : 30; may rotate to 08 : 3017 : 00 or 09 : 3018 : 00)

Holiday weeks : 410-hour shifts

Occasional Saturdays required

Mobile assignments may vary between 06 : 3019 : 00

Job Responsibilities :

Perform mammography procedures including screening, diagnostic, digital, and 3-D mammography.

Support daily patient volumes (average caseload 1015 patients / day).

Work primarily at the Breast Center with potential support at satellite locations.

Breast Center : screening + diagnostic mammography

Satellite location : screening mammography only

No biopsy procedures required.

May work occasional Saturdays and variable hours when assigned to mobile services.

Work in an outpatient care environment.

Utilize equipment including Digital Hologic (Tomo) systems (knowledge preferred).

Required Certifications & Licenses :

ARRT (R)

ARRT (M)

BLS

Ohio Department of Health (ODH) License

Experience with : 3-D mammography

Diagnostic mammograms

Digital mammography

Screening mammograms

Outpatient setting experience

Additional Requirements & Notes

Travel experience not required.

Patient age groups : adults and geriatrics.

Work environment includes 6 mammography rooms.

Caseload : 1015 patients per day.

Strict compliance requirements, including fingerprinting deadlines and two professional references.
