Department Overview

Bloom Energy, a solid oxide fuel cell company, is looking for a Test Engineering Intern to join its world class Stack Development team. This individual should be a dynamic professional who is looking for a rewarding experience in one of today's most exciting technologies.

The Fuel Cell Test Engineering Intern is responsible for timely design and execution of test protocols on fuel cell stacks and components . The Test Engineering Intern is required to establish, promote and maintain excellent rapport with all internal customers, co-workers, and others as appropriate. The Test Engineering intern is also required to maintain continuous communication with direct manager.

Location : This position will be based in Fremont, CA.

Job Responsibilities

• Design specialized test hardware, fixtures and data acquisition equipment
• Collect and analyze test data
• Prepare and deliver presentations explaining results and conclusions
• Make recommendations for improved test designs
• Perform in-process inspection of data and notify team of irregularities
• Debug mechanical, electrical and chemical problems with the test equipment

Salary Statement with pay range

Bloom Energy is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The total compensation for this position is based on various factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills and experience.

Pay range : $36 - 39 per hour

Salary Ranges : $36.00 - $39.00
