Aerospace Transparencies Program Manager - Hybrid
Sylmar, CA
Hybrid role – 3 days onsite at Sylmar, CA, 2 days remote. Reports to Global Program Director, Transparencies.
Oversee end-to-end program lifecycle for aerospace transparencies on fixed wing and rotorcraft (military & commercial). Drive schedules, budgets, quality, cross-functional execution and customer interface.
Responsibilities
- Lead program management from concept to sunset, managing gates 2-7, budgets and timelines.
- Develop detailed program plans, schedules, budgets and monitor progress.
- Coordinate engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, R&D and procurement teams.
- Maintain customer communications and negotiate technical changes.
- Support NPI efforts : product design, tooling, EMD / LRIP / FRP documentation and capital funding.
- Drive continuous improvement and best practices.
- Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with FAA, EASA, MIL-STD and internal quality requirements.
- Prepare and present program status reports to senior management.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.Minimum 5 years program management or aerospace engineering experience.Experience in aerospace transparencies or related components preferred.Strong knowledge of transparency materials, manufacturing processes and testing.PMP certification strongly preferred.Only U.S. Citizens, Green Card holders, and political asylees or refugees are eligible to apply.Travel 10% – may include international travel.The base salary range for this position is $112,000 to $125,000 annually.
