Job descriptionInstall and troubleshoot Windows 2000 and XP workstation Windows7 and servers 2003 and 2008 Install and troubleshoot stand-alone, LAN's & WAN's systems, including VPNs Install and troubleshoot firewalls, routers, hubs, and switches Configure networks fully, including adding users, configuring RAS, TCP / IP, and printing environments Hardware assembly, installations and repair Software installations (Retail Pro, CounterPoint, Ancillary Products, MSOffice, Utilities, etc.) Customer hardware testing and repair Customer on-site repairs Technical phone support Maintain any and all software credentials (such as Retail Pro / CounterPoint certifications) After hours support
One Step Retail Solutions is looking for an experienced Technical Support Specialist to join our external facing Network Support Specialist team at our headquarters in Phoenix, AZ.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES :
- Must learn quickly (Demonstrated by certifications)
- Excellent positive communication skills
- Credentials in : Windows OS, Firewalls, Securities, Virus
- Strong knowledge of DOS, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows7, Server2003, and Server 2008
- Experience installing, configuring and troubleshooting Windows networks
- Experience installing, configuring and troubleshooting routers, hubs and switches
- Retail experience (Such as : ring sales, receiving and physical inventory)
- 2 years help desk experience
- Be able to work any of the following shifts and be available for after-hours, weekend / evening shifts :
6am 3pm
8am 5pm
10am 7pm
