Environmental Health And Safety Program Manager

As an EHS Program Manager at Google, you'll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You'll work directly with Google Data Center partners, general contractors, electrical / mechanical trades and organizations, key integrators, fabricators, and commissioning agents to improve the EHS programs and performance on our projects. You will be responsible for the design, development, and deployment of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) programs and initiatives across a defined area.

Responsibilities include :

• Lead the development and ownership of the EHS program for area construction, including oversight and data collection.
• Ensure that contractors deliver on program safety performance expectations and agreement requirements, and provide timely solutions to issues.
• Monitor, advise, and assist the construction project teams to protect people, environment, and ensure compliance.
• Drive a culture that embraces a continuous learning approach and aligns with organizational strategies, including goals and objectives.
• Liaise with the Construction EHS team to ensure best practices are fully implemented; that progress is reported, trends and data are captured and analyzed; and that risk is mitigated to an acceptable level, ensuring that the operational capacity of a live Data Center is not compromised.
