Supermarket Rack Refrigeration Installer

Job Type : Full-time

Pay : Starting at $28.00 per hour and up based on experience

Schedule : Overnight shift

Travel : 75% (required)

Work Location : On the road

PLEASE NOTE : Because this position requires significant travel, the job posting location simply reflects one of the areas that the ideal candidate will be working in. You will travel to each job site with your own vehicle (travel allowance provided), but there is no centralized office to report to. We do have an office in Dexter, MO that the candidate will have to come to their first week for training, orientation, and also end of year trainings.

About the Role

We are seeking qualified candidates to install supermarket refrigeration equipment. The role involves hands-on installation work, including compressors, electrical diagnostics, replacement of defective parts, refrigerant replacement, refrigerated case installation, pipefitting, copper pipe brazing, and pipe insulating. This position includes frequent brazing work inside refrigerated cases.

Qualifications

• Commercial supermarket refrigeration installation : 2 years (required)
• Pipefitting experience : 3 years (required)
• Brazing experience (required)
• Supermarket rack refrigeration : 4 years (required)
• EPA 608 certification (preferred; required for some systems)
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Must pass a drug screen (including THC)
• Reliable transportation (weekly vehicle allowance provided)
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently
• Hands-on experience using test equipment (meters, gauges, reclaim machines, vacuum pumps, power tools, lock-out / tag-out)
• Strong communication skills for relaying technical information to customers, vendors, and team members
