Responsibilities Work in an acute care hospital setting in the cardiac catheterization lab Daily caseload ranges from 8 to 12 cases, including coronary diagnostic / intervention, peripheral interventions, and permanent pacemaker procedures Procedures address coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, and cardiac arrhythmias No weekend shifts required; 4x10 hour day shifts from 6 : 30 AM to 5 : 00 PM Call is required during the contract period No floating required, unless state / facility policy changes Epic EMR is used and familiarity is required Main duties include assisting with diagnostic and interventional cardiac and vascular procedures and permanent pacemaker implantation Orientation consists of 30 hours First-time travelers are accepted Scrubs are provided for Cath Lab staff All requested time off must be approved prior to assignment consideration Free parking is available on the first day with assignment parking provided during orientation Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and may not live within 50 miles of the facility RTO (requested time off) must be minimal and approved at the time of submission Requirements Minimum of 2 years experience in cardiac cath lab required Current ARRT certification, Fluoro Permit, BLS, and ACLS required (RCIS not accepted) License required if applicable Pending Fluoro Permit considered if applicant has already applied Must provide 2 supervisory references from the last 3 years in a comparable setting Experience with Epic EMR required Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-619421.
