Job Summary :
We are seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing vital duties such as specimen collection, receiving, and referrals, ensuring we provide top-tier service to our patients and customers.

- Keep the work area and collection equipment sanitized and organized.
- Assist with supply procurement in collaboration with the team lead.
- Perform various specimen collections, including venipuncture and urine drug screen collections.
- Ensure specimen integrity is maintained throughout the collection process.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Utilize laboratory computer systems for documentation and order management.
- Participate in special projects, cross-training, and other assigned duties.
- Complete performance evaluations and competency assessments as required.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent; further education in Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant programs preferred.Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.Familiarity with medical terminology and data entry.One year of phlebotomy experience is preferred.Certification as a Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) is preferred; State licensure is needed if in Louisiana.Please note that all associates must obtain the required certifications necessary for their roles in a timely manner.
