Interim Real Estate Transaction Attorney

Major, Lindsey & Africa’s Interim Legal Talent group has a need for a remote Full Time Interim Real Estate Transactions Attorney. Role is an interim position for approximately 3-4 months with good possibility of extension.

Overview

We are seeking an experienced, full-time, remote, Interim Real Estate Transactions Attorney to work with our client in an in-house role. The ideal candidate will be real estate transactional attorney who can independently handle all aspects of real estate transactions and deals, and thrives in an exciting fast paced entrepreneurial environment of a rapidly growing company that has been around for over a decade. The person in this role will lead all transactional legal matters across an expanding national portfolio and reports directly to the CLO.

Our client is a real estate investment management firm that is in an exciting and ongoing period of growth.

Experience (Required)

• Licensed to practice law in the USA
• 8+ years’ of commercial real-estate transactional experience, ideally within a fully integrated real-estate investment, private-equity, or law-firm environment.
• Demonstrated ability to handle all aspects of a real estate transaction deal including the ability to independently structure, negotiate, and close acquisitions, dispositions, and financings.
• Deep familiarity with title / survey review, ALTA requirements, and complex closing logistics.
• Experience with joint ventures, entity formation, or real-estate funds is a plus.
