Job description

Shore Staffing, Inc. is seeking a

  • licensed Speech Therapist (SLP)
  • to provide on-site services to adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities to facilities in Hagerstown, MD.

This role is ideal for a compassionate, skilled therapist who enjoys working in a collaborative, therapeutic environment that helps individuals enhance their communication skills and achieve greater independence.

  • What You'll Do
  • Provide individualized speech, language, and cognitive therapy sessions.
  • Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans for new residents within 30 days of admission.
  • Document progress and participate in interdisciplinary team meetings.
  • Offer staff training in communication techniques, sign language, and augmentative communication tools.
  • Maintain compliance with state and facility policies, including HIPAA and infection control protocols.
  • Requirements
  • Active Maryland license
  • in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • ASHA certification (CCC-SLP)
  • required.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience
  • working with intellectually disabled or dually diagnosed individuals.
  • Current Adult First Aid / CPR / AED certification.
  • Ability to pass a background check and attend mandatory MANDT and facility training sessions.

  • Part-time (Approx. 20 hours / week, Monday-Friday)
  • Duration :
  • 35 weeks (October 2025 - July 2026)
