About The Position

Job Title : Anesthesia Technician

Location :   Wausau, WI

Contract Type : Travel Assignment

Contract Length : 13 Weeks

Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours / week

Shift : Variable 8-hour shifts (Monday–Friday)

Job Overview :

Hiring a highly skilled Anesthesia Technician to support anesthesia providers across a variety of specialties, with a strong focus on the cardiothoracic program . This is a Level II Trauma Center environment requiring a hardworking, resilient individual who adapts well to change.

Responsibilities :

Assist anesthesia providers in OR settings with anesthesia equipment and procedures

Participate in early morning set-ups (one hour / week includes charge pay)

Maintain, prepare, and troubleshoot anesthesia equipment

Assist with central lines, Swans, and experience in procedures involving hearts , Belmont , Cell Saver , and other anesthesia technologies

Collaborate with surgical teams to support patient safety and procedural efficiency

Requirements :

Certifications : AHA BLS (Required), ASATT (Preferred)

Experience :

Minimum 2 years recent anesthesia technician experience

Trauma Level II experience strongly preferred

Experience with central lines, Swans, hearts, and anesthesia technology

Minimum 1 completed travel assignment required

Education : Graduation from an Anesthesia Tech program preferred; equivalent experience accepted
