Salary : $80,000-$105,000 / yr.

ACCOUNTING MANAGER

POSITION SUMMARY :

Manage employees and necessary functions within the accounting department.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

Analyze financial information and prepare reports to determine or maintain record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability or other financial activities within the organization.

Prepare, examine or analyze accounting records, financial statements or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.

Plan, direct or coordinate activities of subordinates in the accounting department.

Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments and obligations to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice.

Develop, maintain and analyze budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs.

• Develop, implement, modify and document recordkeeping and accounting systems making use of current computer technology.

Direct daily operations of department, analyzing workflow, establishing priorities, developing standards and setting deadlines.

Complete required employee evaluations for subordinates in a timely manner in order to communicate successes, job-skill deficiencies and expectations necessary for employment and advancement within the company.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS :

Ability to work required overtime to support manufacturing needs and requests from our customers.

Education & Experience :

Three to seven years of related experience.
