Manage and oversee Information Systems.

Designate, in writing, the person who will serve as the Security Official and ensure appropriate alignment to the job description.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Professional & Technical Skills

Minimum of 5 years hospital computer software background.

Education : Requires a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Information Technology, computer science, along with a Master's degree being highly preferred. Key requirements include extensive healthcare IT leadership experience, strong knowledge of healthcare-specific regulations like HIPAA, and proven ability in areas like EHR systems, data security, budgeting, and strategic planning to align IT with the hospital's goals.

License(s) or Certification(s)

CHCIO or HITRUST Certifications preferred.

Other Skills or Requirements

Excellent organizational and customer service skills. Strong working knowledge of Meditech Expanse. May be approved to work remotely in order to carry out MHP job responsibilities. Must adhere to policy guidelines as outlines in SPP : HR-63
