Adult Behavioral Health Therapist

Hourly Rate Range : $28-$36

Location : Southgate, Michigan

Overview

Our client is seeking to add 5 compassionate and skilled Adult Behavioral Health Therapists to their team! The therapist will provide clinical services to individuals and families dealing with mental health and substance abuse challenges. This position involves conducting assessments, delivering therapy, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver clinical services for adults and families, including individual and group therapy.
• Assess and document client needs for mental health and / or substance abuse services.
• Collaborate with other professionals and service providers to ensure holistic care.
• Maintain compliance with all contractual and licensure requirements.
• Participate in supervision, team meetings, and case consultations.
• Complete clinical records and agency documentation in a timely manner.
• Uphold the professional code of ethics.
• Coordinate effective discharge planning for clients.
• Complete required training in mental health and substance use disorders.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education : Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling.

Experience : Minimum of 1 year in Social Work or related clinical services.
